Gary Gee — Career, Exhibitions & Public Art
Selected exhibitions, public work, education and cultural leadership
Gary Gee is an Indianapolis-based interdisciplinary artist, educator, curator and cultural strategist. His practice moves between ceramics, drawing, mixed media, public art and cultural storytelling—bringing street aesthetics into conversation with gallery craft, hip-hop history, identity, heritage and liberation.
Across more than 70 exhibitions, Gee has presented work regionally and nationally while building platforms for other artists and young creatives. His work connects artistic excellence with community infrastructure: exhibitions become meeting grounds, classrooms become creative laboratories, and public projects become records of place and culture.
